Thanks to the wonderful folks at the Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau I have completed #18 on my North Dakota Bucket List. 
Now I know it isn’t the same thing as going to Widman’s Candy Shop and enjoying the “Chippers” there but this was the next best thing.
You see, I registered to win a prize during the Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau’s contest to celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week. Low and behold I got an e-mail while in Oklahoma City saying I had won two pounds of Widman’s very own Chippers.
Yahoo!!!
They arrived today. I was super excited to crack open the box and enjoy a few. They were nicely wrapped in cellophane so I took the top row off and said “this is all we get to have” and I’ll be bringing the rest to work tomorrow – lucky co-workers.
Look who else was interested in the Chippers. I think not Buster!
Guess what, our top row is already gone! They were so good. The chocolate melts in your mouth and the thick potato chips (Red River Valley Potato Chips to be exact) were thick and crunchy and delicious.
Ahhh life is better with chocolate covered salty goodness.
Thanks again Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau, you guys rock! I love winning stuff.
